Upcoming Marimba Building Workshop

September 29 to October 1 (Saturday to Monday)

and

October 26 to 28 (Friday to Sunday)

Music teachers Paul Corbierre and Charlene Sutton sand and route Paul's new baritone.
Charlene Sutton executes an initial tuning cut on a baritone bar.
A marimba for sale will be made in each workshop. The marimba buyer receives one attendance at the workshop as part of the regular selling price. Buy a marimba of your choice and your attendee can learn to build you more!

In this September workshop we will build a bass marimba for Eagle Creek Elementary School in Arlington, WA.

Additional attendees (limit 7) pay $250 for the 3 day workshop.

This workshop format is working out real well! Teachers get a marimba and a new local builder. Many other attendees are building marimbas and some are even going into the business.

  1. Hey there - I know this is late but what a fantastic time I had there! We were able to make a beautiful baritone marimba and have a lot of fun in the process. AND YES!!!! I bought that marimba, brought it home, and my kids LOVE it. Oh ya, bought some power tools and a pile-o-wood and I'm in the process of making my own.
    I highly recommend this workshop!!
